From 10 Jul to 14 Jul 2023, a group of 75 students from the English-taught Civil Engineering Elite Class at South China University of Technology (hereinafter referred to the English-taught Class) visited Hong Kong Special Administrative Region to conduct a one-week overseas social practice and engineering training. They have visited three renowned universities and nine top construction companies in Hong Kong, and engaged in in-depth exchanges with senior professors, industry experts, and alumni representatives. The participants of this activity included all students from the Class of 2021 and some students from the Class of 2020, under the guidance of four teachers from the Department of Civil Engineering, namely Nan Hu, Taicong Chen, Guangming Chen and Yan Xiong.
