On May 25, the signing ceremony of the cooperation between School of Civil Engineering and Transportation of South China University of Technology (SCUT) and Southern Company of China Construction Third Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd (CCTEB) to build a school teaching practice base was held in CCTEB Southern Company. Zheng Cunhui, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Civil Engineering and Transportation, Deputy Dean Ji Jing, Deputy Dean Chen Jun of the School of Civil Engineering and Transportation, Pan Jianrong, Deputy Director of the Department of Civil Engineering, Huang Wenwei, Deputy Director of the Department of Construction Management, Wu Yanhong, Chief Engineer of CCTEB Southern Company, Li Wen, Chairman of the Labor Union, Deputy General Manager Qin Changjin and heads of various engineering departments attended the signing ceremony. The international and domestic rankings of SCUT have climbed steadily in recent years, and the construction of an international campus has brought the university to a new level. He proposed that university and enterprise can strengthen the cooperation in undergraduate teaching, scientific and technological research, and construction management personnel training to support the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Deputy Dean Ji Jing introduced the cooperation of the university-enterprise practice base in recent years, and the future cooperation deployment of the two sites in student practice, construction, and talent training. The two sites actively discussed the specific details of jointly building a teaching practice base. For example, excellent managers from the CCTEB are recommended to participate in the selection of off-campus tutors for the master's degree in construction management, and the university and enterprises actively cooperated to complete the practical guidance and teaching tasks for students, and innovated online internship methods such as cloud internship, and carried out joint training to improve the management level.
