From July 28th to 30th, the 4th National University water conservancy innovative design competition was held in Chongqing Jiaotong University. Guided by Miss Zhou and Miss Xue, students from the hydraulic department of SCET are Mai Yepeng、Feng Sian、Liu Ruizhe and Chenqiuyu.
In the 4th National University water conservancy innovative design competition, there were altogether 69 universities including Qinghua university, Tongji University, Hohai University, Wuhan university and Sichuan university etc with 175 presenting works. Through the fierce competition of presentation、defense and final defense, 18 special prizes、35 first prizes、86 second prizes and 35 excellent prizes have been chosen.
It is reported that the National University water conservancy innovative design competition is co-hosted by water conservancy advisory board under the ministry of education and Chinese water conservancy education association. As the top competition among students majoring in water conservancy, it is held every two years in order to encourage them to take active part in innovative practice. It is hoped that this competition can cultivate innovative students with cooperative spirit and ability to implement practice, which can make contribution to the industry of national water conservancy.
