Recently, Dean Su and Secretary Luo accompanying by vice-president Wen、vice-president Li and professor Zhang, went to the Guangdong department of transport(GDT) to have researching meetings with stuff there.
Communicating with Guangdong transport management bureau
On the afternoon of July 22nd, representatives from SCET had a meeting with leaders of Guangdong transport management bureau (GTMB) such as deputy director Liu and vice-president Weng from GDT and the head of GTMB Zheng Xiaofeng. On the meeting, dean Su introduced the achievement gained by SCET in last few years, hoping to strengthen the cooperation and communication with GDT and make greater contribution to the transport industry in Guangdong province. Vice-president Liu emphasized that scientific research should focus on solving problems of people’s lives. Therefore he wished that SCET could make more dedication in the Northeastern Transport and Logics Developing Research Center (NTLDRC). At the same time, he wished that SCET could take part in the 2015 Chinese Internet and Transport Service Competition in Xiao Guwei hosted by GDT and organized the fourth forum of the NTLDRC. Besides that, attendants also had heated discussion about concerning problems.
Communicating with science and education office of GTD
On the afternoon of July 23rd, Vice-president Yang of GDT and Head Lu of GTMB etc attended the meeting communicating with science and education office of GTD. At first, dean Su gave a brief introduction on the general situation of SCET such as branches of majors, professional cultivation, faculty and scientific research. Then he gave a report on the innovative platform for the long-term benefit of road transport program, hoping to receive support from GDT. Speaking highly of SCET for our cooperation with GDT in scientific research, vice-president Yang asserted that GDT would support the innovative platform for the long-term benefit of road transport program, advising SCET to invest more money in it and endeavor to promote it as soon as possible. Later attendants discussed about the present road transport system management, application of virtual technology and problems of roads in Guangdong Province.
Through this researching communication, SCET has a further understanding about all aspects of transport situation in Guangdong Province. It is hoped that SCET can take this opportunity to ascertain the goal of Transport Disciplines and thus improve its academic influence.
