On the afternoon of May 25th, SCET signed the agreement on cooperation with Guangdong Wang Tat Construction and Investment Holdings Group (GWCIHG). Dean Su Cheng and vice dean Li Meichun of SCET、teacher representatives from the Department of Civil Engineering and Department of Engineering Management, the chairman of the board Huang Wo and his assistant Zhuo Cuili as well as vice-general manager Luo Weifeng of GWCIHG attended the ceremony.
Dean Su Cheng first extended the warmest welcome to the delegation from GWCIHG. Then he gave a brief introduction of SCET. After that, chairman of the board of GWCIHG and alumnus of SCET, Huang Wo also introduced the main business of GWCIHG. Later, both parties signed the agreement with the hope of boosting the practical development of SCUT and GWCIHG. Dean Su Cheng then gave the plaque with “SCUT Teaching and Experiment Basement” on it to alumnus Huang Wo.
Both parties also visited some labs of SCET to get to know the teaching situation and scientific research of SCET, like the Engineering Management Lab, Transportation Planning Big-data Lab, Road Lab and Bridge Lab.
It is known that GWCIHG is a comprehensive Group possessing national and foreign investment planning and engineering construction management with rich experience on program investment. Its business includes construction service, construction investment and industry investment, which is involved in investment, planning and management.
