Rising Nonferrous Metals Co., Ltd (RNM) vice president Liang Zhan was invited to have two speeches at SCET on May 21. The speeches were part of a course named "Development of Water Conservation and Personal Career Planning" for undergraduates in Grade 2012 and also attracted teachers and students of other majors or grades to participate in.

In his speech named Management and Monitoring of the Security of Tailing Reservoirs, Mr Liang introduced the basic knowledge of tailings reservoirs. Then he told the audiences the aftermath of accidents of tailings reservoirs and explained the ways how to make projects safe.
In his speech entitled "Solid Foundation, Hard Work and Grasping Opportunity to Accept Challenge," Mr Liang shared his opinion on Orbital Transfer of Career and his professional experience. From a mining technician to a vice president of a listed company, Mr Liang completed a shift from technical personnel to a T-shaped talent. He said, "We should be dedicated to our work ,try to be an expert of the industry and be recognized by peers."
"Things that we do should be tested by time. We should complete what we do, leaving nothings to anyone else." He encouraged the students to be an innovative person with his own characteristics, and to do things well with earnest. He said students should improve their own learning ability, creative thinking and organizational capability.
