Dr. Muraleedharan G. Nair is a Senior Associate to the Dean of the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources and Professor in the Department of Horticulture at Michigan State University.He is an accomplished natural products chemist with extensive experience in mechanism-based bioassays, extraction, isolation, purification, structure elucidation and chemical synthesis of natural products. Dr. Nair is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC) and Chartered Chemist (CChem), UK, a Distinguished Faculty of the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources (CANR) at Michigan State University and Member of the National Academy of Inventors, USA. His laboratory conducts bioassay-directed discovery of bioactive natural products from plant, microbes and marine organisms. He is a peer reviewer of numerous scientific journals, reviewer of state, federal and international funding agencies, editorial and advisory board member of several scientific journals, author or co-author of more than 220 peer-reviewed scientific journal articles (h-index 63, i10-index 180 and 16080 citations). He was the founder, partner and President and CEO of Natural Product Technologies, LLC. and VAMTech LLC., later sold to Plant Health Care Inc., Chief Technology Officer of PhytoHealth, LLC, and V-PET Plc., Kerala, India. Currently, he is the founder, partner and Chief Technology Officer of Natural Therapeutics, LLC. in Ann Arbor, Michigan and partner of Nail17.com.
