Research Area

Chen Reseach Group focus on rational design of new materials to enable high performance, economic energy and environment devices based on understanding and controlling the surface and interface properties under extreme conditions (electric polarization, reactive gas or liquid environment, high temperature, radiation and mechanic stress). We are also working on the application of  ion beam  implantation in low dimensional materials for energy and electronics.
