The research team of RF and wireless technology consists of two professors, two associate professors and one lecture. All of them have Ph. D. degrees. The academic leader, Prof. Chu Qing-Xin is also doctoral tutor, and the director of Institute of RF and Wireless Technology, South China University of Technology, National experimental teaching demonstration centers, Electrical Information and ControlExperimentTeachingCenter, South China University of Technology, and 2007 Guangdong Excellent Course, RF Circuit of Antenna. His current research interests include analytical and numerical techniques in electromagnetics, RF/microwave integrated circuits, RF/microwave filters, active integrated antennas, spatial power combining array, and antennas in mobile communication.
The team has assumed more than ten research projects. More than 60 academic papers are published annually, including more than 20 journal papers. All of them are searched by SCI & EI index.
