Yongjun Li, Ph.D, professor, doctoral tutor, deputy director, outstanding post-doctoral in Guangdong Province. Research directions: computer network protocol, wireless sensor network, distributed cloud computing and big data analysis. Currently is the deputy director of the Institute of Computer Systems.

The research achievements obtained from the doctoral and postdoctoral research are as follows: proposed a new dynamic IP group management strategy; proposed an active hierarchical group multicast routing protocol; studied the security problems and solutions of multicast; studied the analysis of computer network security especially the NT Rookit in detail.

After the doctoral and postdoctoral research, the research direction has been transferred to cloud computing, big data analysis, wireless sensor network and related engineering applications, the research results include: wireless sensor network routing protocol optimization, and application research in Internet of things; research results in cloud computing: has optimized HDFS and MapReduce based on the comprehensive analysis of Hadoop architecture according to the principle of distributed concurrency, and it was applied to industry data analysis and engineering practice, which was responsible for data analysis and excavation of large airlines and large telecommunication enterprises.

Has long been engaged in computer science and technology disciplines of teaching and research work, has presided and completed nearly 30 vertical and horizontal research projects. Has hosted the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the National Postdoctoral Science Foundation, the Guangdong Provincial Natural Science Foundation project, the Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Project, Science and Technology Program key projects in Guangdong, the special issue of safety production, Guangdong Province, the Commission and the subject of scientific and Science and Technology Program Key Project in Guangzhou, scientific research funds accumulated more than 700 million yuan. Has applied for 10 patents, and four patents has been granted among them. Has received 25 copies of Chinese computer software. Has published more than 80 academic papers, and more than 40 articles was indexed by the SCI, EI discs among them.

On behalf of the school, participated in the National Sensor Network Standards Committee in July 2010, has already become a full member of the unit, was responsible for school’s sensor network standardization organization research work. The candidate of Guangdong Province for Thousands, hundred and ten excellent object. Has won the provincial and ministerial level third prize in 2011.
