Research directions and research results

Prof. Zhang mainly engaged in fields such as communication and information systems, communication network technology, computer science and engineering, his main research directions are: computer network system management, network security, the next generation of high-performance computer network, next generation Internet video applications and computer massive data processing.

Prof. Zhang has participated in more than 50 major scientific research projects (including 973, 863, 211 and etc.), which he act as the project leader or the lead researcher. He has accomplished multiple scientific research projects with various international academies and organizations, the NDRC, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Education and the National Natural Science Foundation of China.
