Professor Gao Mingxuan was born in June 1987.She holds a Ph.D.in Science and is currently a professor, researcher, and doctoral supervisor. She is the Principal Investigator(PI)of the Department of Laboratory Medicine at the First Affiliated Hospital of Army Medical University(Southwest Hospital),a Young Innovative Talent in New Chongqing, and a reserve candidate for academic and technical leaders in Chongqing. Her research primarily focuses on the application of functionalized fluorescent nanomaterials in the early diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer. In recent years, she has published more than 40 SCI papers in journals such asJ.Am.Chem.Soc.,ACS Nano,Adv.Sci.,andAnal.Chem.,and has obtained five patents authorized in China and the United States. She has led eight projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the National Key Research and Development Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and provincial/military projects. She also serves as a young editorial board member for journals such asInterdisciplinary MedicineandInternational Journal of Laboratory Medicine.

Abstract:

In the era of precision oncology, the early diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer have significantly improved the quality of life for breast cancer patients, which is closely related to the rapid development of chemical and biosensing technologies.Fluorescence analysis based on liquid biopsy from peripheral blood can effectively address some of the"bottleneck"issues in the precise diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer. In this context, the presenter has conducted a series of research works focusing on the development of fluorescence analysis methods for breast cancer and the clinical needs for early diagnosis:1)A confined reaction strategy using nucleic acid structures as thermodynamic limiters has been proposed;2)A tandem multi-level hierarchical nucleic acid detection technology has been constructed;3)Through prospective clinical studies, rapid diagnostic techniques that can be applied in clinical settings have been developed.
