(1) Controlled growth of carbon nanotubes for nanocomposites, catalyst support, electrodes, and electronics.
(2) Novel nanomaterials, including nanoparticles, nanowires, nanotubes, nano thin films and three dimensional nanostructured materials of metals, alloys and oxides, and mesoporous materials.
