主要致力于发展新型有机合成方法及聚合反应的研究，尤其聚焦于易位聚合方法和基于卡宾化学的有机化学合成方法的研究，取得了阶段性创新成果。共发表 SCI论文 17 篇，其中第一/共同第一作者论文 10 篇，包括 J. Am. Chem. Soc.（3 篇）、Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. （1 篇）、Chem（1 篇）、 Org. Lett.（3 篇）、Chem. Eur. J.（1 篇）等化学领域国际权威期刊。曾获埃默里大学 Osborne R. Quayle Senior/Advanced Student Award 等荣誉。
