附报告人简介:
Dr. Yuning Hong received her BSc in Chemistry from Sun Yat-sen University in 2006. After graduation, she joined Prof Ben Zhong Tang's group in Hong Kong University of Science & Technology (HKUST) for her doctoral studies and obtained her PhD in 2011. She then worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Dartmouth College in Biophysical Chemistry for one year before returning to HKUST as a Research Assistant Professor of Chemistry and Junior Fellow of Institute for Advanced Study. She joined the School of Chemistry, The University of Melbourne as a McKenzie Fellow in 2014. Dr Hong is the author and co-author of over 70 scientific papers and inventor of three US patents. Her current research interests focus on the development of novel luminescent materials and exploration of their biological applications including (1) recognition of important biological substances, (2) monitoring of conformational change processes of biomolecules, and (3) bio-imaging.
