报告摘要:

    This talk is concerned with the strong stability problem of linear continuous-time delay-difference equation. A family of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs), indexed by a positive integer k, is derived in the frequency domain to assess strong stability. A time-domain interpretation of the proposed LMI based condition is given in terms of a quadratic integral Lyapunov functional. The LMI condition can easily be reformulated in a form where the dependence on the coefficients of the delay-difference equation is affine, which is instrumental to establishing a sufficient LMI condition for robust strong stability of delay-difference equations with norm bounded uncertainty. Examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the presented results.

 

 

报告人简介:

     Bin Zhou is a Professor of the Department of Control Science and Engineering at the Harbin Institute of Technology. He received the Bachelor’s degree, the Master’s Degree and Ph.D. from the Department of Control Science and Engineering at Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, China in 2004, 2006 and 2010, respectively. His current research interests include constrained control, time-delay systems, time-varying systems, nonlinear control, multiagent systems, and control applications in astronautic engineering. He received the National Excellent Doctoral Dissertation Award in 2012 from the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council and the Ministry of Education of P.R. China. He is a member of the IFAC Technical Committees on Linear Control Systems, Nonlinear Control Systems, and Aerospace. He is currently on the Conference Editorial Board of the IEEE Control Systems Society, and an Associate Editor of Automatica, IET Control Theory & Applications, Asian Journal of Control, Journal of System Science and Mathematical Science, and Control and Decision.
