On June 6, 2025, at 10:30 AM in the Chamber Music Hall of the School of Arts at SCUT, a public lecture titled The Performance Style of Guangdong Han Music Silk String Music: Taking 'Spring Arrival' as an Example was delivered by Erhu Teacher Huang Lin. The lecture focused on the historical context of Guangdong Han music, particularly analyzing silk string music and Zhongjun Ban performance styles. Professor Huang Lin emphasized the acoustic characteristics of the Tou Xian and Ti Hu, provided a modern interpretation of the piece Spring Arrival, and demonstrated how to apply its sound rhetoric in practice.
