On the evening of September 14,2025, Theinaugural edition of the Elegance in Arts'series- Romance of the DancingStars was magnificently staged at the E5 Innovation and Entrepreneurship Centel Theater at the Guangzhou international campus. This production was directed by Hu Yihan, a young faculty member from the Dance Department of the School of Arts, who was admitted to the Beijing Dance Academy with the top national score and has won multiple awardsin internationa balet competitions, bringingrich performance and teaching experienceto the production. The performance commenced with the contemporary dancepiece The Tide Surges in the Pearl River, a work selected for the National Arts Fund project, which vividly portrays the pioneering and innovative spirit of the people in the Greater Bay Area since thereform and opening-up era,as wellas thelicourage to stand at the forefront of the tide.
