On December 28, 2024, the Colorful Greater Bay Area - Let's Create a Better Future 4th Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area College Students' Art Festival's on-site performance event was held at the University Town Campus of South China University of Technology, organized by the Education Department of Guangdong Province and hosted by South China University of Technology.

This art festival began in November and attracted participation from 151 universities in Hong Kong, Macao and Guangdong. It gathered over 3,000 artistic works (including performances, paintings, calligraphy/inscription works, film and television works (including digital media art), handicrafts), covering vocal music, instrumental music, dance, drama (including traditional Chinese opera), recitation, painting works, calligraphy/inscription works, film and television works (including digital media art), and handicraft production. These programs and works were diverse and splendid, fully showcasing the positive, benevolent, beautiful and upward spirit of the college students in the Greater Bay Area of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao in the new era.
