Introduction:

Associate professor, young soprano, graduated from the Department of Vocal Opera of the Central Conservatory of Music, and currently faculty of the Vocal Department of the School of Arts, South China University of Technology.

During the tenure, she has participated in many music performances in practice: the large symphonic oratorio “Jiang Jie” as Jiang Sister; participated in the original symphonic concert “Sweet Springs of the Ages” as a soloist; participated in the performance of the large original oratorio Sun Yat-Sen; played the role of Mrs. Kang in the play among others. She has been to many universities for exchange and study, including Beijing University, Tsinghua University, Tianjin University, Communication University of China, etc. She has cooperated with numbers of theaters including Beijing National Grand Theatre and Guangzhou Xinghai Concert Hall among others. She has held many solo concerts. In 2018, she produced and released her first solo crossover album Xiu Wai Hui Sheng by China Science and Culture Audio and Video Publishing House. She has played major roles in several operas, and has been performing frequently with many orchestras at home and abroad.

She has participated in the recording of “Into the World of Opera”, a high-quality video open course of the Ministry of Education, and has played the role of soprano in many operas.

She has published numerous academic articles in major professional journals and one monograph, and has her own unique insights into vocal singing and teaching. She is devoted to the research of classical vocal music.
