Introduction:
Associate professor, graduate student supervisor, deputy director of dance department at the School of Arts, South China University of Technology.
Education: in June 2004, she graduated from the Beijing Dance Academy, major in Chinese dance, and won the first prize of performance in the professional group of the Sixth Beijing Dance Competition, and Beijing excellent graduate among other honorary titles; in June 2013, she graduated from South China University of Technology in musicology and dance drama aesthetics.
Research fields: Chinese dance teaching, choreography, and theory.
Teaching practice: major in professional skills courses including Chinese folk dance and plays, and professional theoretical courses including folk dance culture and choreography thesis writing; she has won the excellent undergraduate teaching award at the school level for numerous times, and won the first prize of college dance group in the first basic teaching skills competition for aesthetic education teachers in Guangdong Province in 2021; she has also directed the special dance performance of undergraduate graduating class for quite a few times.
Academic research: presided over many provincial, ministerial and school level projects such as the Lingnan Cultural Project of Philosophy and Social Sciences Planning of Guangdong Province, research on the evolution and inheritance of Lingnan Nuo Dance. She has published abundant articles in journals including Journal of Beijing Dance Academy and Dance; Choreographed and created dance works, participated in various dance competitions at all levels, and won awards such as excellent creation, choreographer and instructor for several times; Major works include Yehua, Aoxue, Impression of Helou, Guardian, Beautiful China - folk dance series.
