DR.Chenny Gan Teaching piano and collaborative piano at Wesleyan in Macon, Georgia, Gan goes above and beyond for her students. One time, she hosted a nationally known jazz band to “lecture” students, then arranged a jam session with the band and the students. She also mentors Chinese piano students who attend Wesleyan as part of a dual degree program. To help those students improve their English skills, Gan encourages American students to have a conversation every day with someone who is not a native English speaker.
