Introduction:
Born in Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province in September 1972. In 1993, graduated from Jiangxi Provincial Literature and Art School (trumpet performance) and stayed at the school to teach. In 1998, graduated from the Orchestra Instruments Department (trumpet performance) of Guangzhou Xinghai Conservatory of Music. In the same year, entered South China University of Technology and worked since then. In 2005, admitted to the state government-sponsored study abroad. In 2008, graduated from the Orchestral Department (trumpet performance and teaching) of the Russian State Gnessin Conservatory of Music with a master's degree. Currently the deputy dean of the School of Arts of South China University of Technology, associate professor of the trumpet major, graduate student supervisor, vice president of the Guangzhou Wind Music Society, permanent director of the China Trumpet Association, member of the China Musicians Association, and member of the Guangdong Musicians Association.
Research direction: professional trumpet performance and teaching in symphony orchestra, brass chamber music performance.
Main achievements: won the first prize for instrumental solo at the 2nd Jiangxi Music and Dance Festival; guided students to win one national first prize, one second prize, three provincial first prizes and two second prizes; published 10 articles, including 1 in SSCI, 5 in national core journals, 6 in provincial journals.
Research funding: One project from the Ministry of Education and two projects at the school level.
