事件1：2018年1月，经广东省科技厅公示，由佛山市顺德区美的电热电器制造有限公司和本课题组联合申报的“恒匀火高能效电磁炉关键技术研究与产业化”获得广东省2017年科学技术奖三等奖。华南理工大学为第2完成单位，刘仲武教授为第3完成人，钟喜春副教授、余红雅副教授为第14、15完成人。此前，项目“基于恒匀火关键技术的电磁炉研究与产业化”已获得2016年度佛山市科学技术二等奖。

事件2：2018年国际磁学会议（Intermag2018）将于今年4月份在新加坡举行，课题组投稿的多篇论文摘要顺利接收，包括：刘仲武等“Development of Non-Rare Earth Grain Boundary Diffusion Process for Nd-Fe-B Permanent Magnets”；钟喜春等“Thermal stability, magnetic and magnetocaloric properties of Gd55Co35M10 (M = Si, Zr and Nb) amorphous alloys”；张家胜等“Effects of Ta doping and Ce reduction on the magnetic properties and thermal stability of Ce-Fe-B al-loys”；吴雅祥等“Numerical investigation of biconical transcranial magnetic stimulation coil”；赵利忠等“Magnetic characteristics of the ferromagnetic Fe-rich clusters in bulk amorphous Nd60Fe30Al30 alloy”；李伟等“Micromagnetic simulation on the magnetic properties of Nd2Fe14B/α-Fe nanocomposites with Fe nanowires as the soft phase”。
