Abstract:
Magnetorheological elastomer (MRE) is a kind of composite functional soft material whose modulus can be controlled by applied magnetic field. Based on the controllable modulus property of MRE, a kind of adaptive tuned vibration absorption technology has been proposed. The first prototype of tuned vibration absorber based on MRE in the world is developed, which overcomes the problem of narrow vibration absorption frequency band of traditional vibration absorption technology. The vibration absorption technology of linear system is based on the principle of energy transfer near the resonance point, while the nonlinear system, especially the multi stable system, can expand the working bandwidth of vibration absorber. Based on the research of vibration absorption technology in recent years, the concept of energy collection of poly-stable nonlinear system is proposed. A new multi stable physical phenomenon, synergetic poly-stable motion, is found, which changes the cognition that only several steady states energy collection can be realized in the traditional way. A seesaw energy transfer method is proposed, which changes the recognition that energy transfer cannot be performed between modals, is a new way to realize crossing potential barrier under low vibration intensity. A non-cantilever beam energy collection device with ultra-low frequency and wide frequency band characteristics is developed. The device can achieve energy collection with an ultra-low frequency of 0.1Hz, which is expected to solve the problem of ultra-low frequency energy collection in the ocean.
