Prof. Bernard LOTZ from Institute Charles Sadron (CNRS) was invited by South China Advanced Institute for Soft Materials Science and Technology and gave a lecture titled“Polymer Crystallization”on October 30th and 31st. Prof. Bernard LOTZ has more than 40-year experience on the study of phase transitions, structure and morphology of crystalline polymers.

This series lectures mainly focused on the characterization and analysis of semi-crystalline polymers. Based on his experience, Prof. LOTZ introduced several important frustrated structures in crystalline polymers. Moreover, he introduced some examples of missing opportunities in obtaining the correct structures.
