About the speaker:

Zhen Tong, Ph.D., professor, doctoral supervisor

    Prof. Tong received his MS degree in chemical engineering at South China Institute of Technology in 1982 and has obtained a PhD in macromolecular science from Osaka University, Japan in 1988.

    Prof. Tong's research interests include structure and properties of polymer materials, functional polymer materials, etc. He has been mainly engaged in the research work of polymer solution thermodynamics, polymer gel physical chemistry, and polymer crosslinking system kinetics and dynamics. Currently, he served as a professor at South China University of Technology, where he taught polymer physics, structual characterization of polymer materials, and other courses.
