Chen Xiaofeng, Ph.D., professor, doctoral supervisor

    Xiaofeng Chen is the director of the Department of Biomedical Engineering and the Vice Dean of the Institute of Biomedical Engineering at South China University of Technology. Professor Chen has been engaged in the research of biomedical materials for a long time. His research directions involve bioactive glass and ceramic, sol-gel and nano-biomimetic synthesis of bioactive materials, the interaction between materials and cells and the mechanism of tissue repair, bone, tooth, healing materials of skin wound and its products, etc.
