The Spring Festival of the Year of the Rat saw the outbreak of the epidemic. Consequently, the campus remains closed for the sake of prevention and control of infection though it was supposed to open in February of the early spring. Against this backdrop, the regular in-person classes have been replaced by online teaching to continue the curriculum; teachers of all nationalities adhere to their posts for online teaching.

In addition, Dr. Yap Boon Kar specifically quoted the example of the martial arts masters who lived in seclusion in the mountains and practiced hard. She also said in her letter to the students that Newton studied gravitation, calculus and optical theory due to the plague in 1655 to encourage the students to persevere, not waste time, and improve themselves.
Peace, hope and love need to be advocated during a time like this. We will always be one family. It is much appreciated that teachers at home and aboard have been cooperative all the time. We thank for their hard work and pray for the future.
On the other hand, lecturers make extra efforts to let the students adapt to online class as soon as possible.
