Returns an array containing the constants of this enum type, in the order they are declared. This method may be used to iterate over the constants as follows:

valueOf

public static IpAddress.AddressClass valueOf(String name)

Returns the enum constant of this type with the specified name. The string must match exactly an identifier used to declare an enum constant in this type. (Extraneous whitespace characters are not permitted.)

Parameters:

name - the name of the enum constant to be returned.

Returns:

the enum constant with the specified name

Throws:

IllegalArgumentException - if this enum type has no constant with the specified name

getPrivateNetwork

Returns the subnet representing the "private network" defined for the address class, for classes A, B, C; null for other classes. That is:

  Class A : "10.0.0.0/8"
  Class B : "172.16.0.0/12"
  Class C : "192.168.0.0/16"
 

Returns:

the private network

getImpliedMask

Returns the subnet mask implied by the address class, for classes A, B, C; null for other classes. That is:

  Class A : 255.0.0.0
  Class B : 255.255.0.0
  Class C : 255.255.255.0
