On May 28, 2024, Yu Liu, the 2020 doctoral students of the research group, successfully passed the doctoral dissertation defense at South China Universityof Technology. His research topic is the preparation and properties of novelsaccharide bianched cellulose.

On June 5, 2024, Songnan Hu, the 2020 doctoral students of the research group,successfully passed the doctoral dissertation defense at South China Universityof Technology. His research topic is the cellulose surface/interfacefunctionalization based on Mannich reaction and its applications.
