In July 2021, The China Scholarship Council (CSC) announced the admission results of the 2021 State-funded Graduate program of a High-level National University. The doctoral students of the class of 2018 have obtained the qualification of studying abroad sponsored by the State. Dang Chao will go to the National University of Singapore for a 12-month joint training under the guidance of Professor Ouyang Jianyong, Department of Materials Science and Engineering, School of Engineering. In the newly released QS World University Rankings 2021, THE National University of Singapore is ranked 11th.

 Dang Chao’s current research direction is based on biomass molecules such as lipoic acid, cellulose, itaconic acid, etc., to construct green recyclable multifunctional conductive materials and apply them to the field of flexible electronic devices. Currently, as the first author, he has published 3 SCI papers in international authoritative journals "Adv. Fun. Mater., J. Mater. Chem. A., ACS. Appl. Mater. Inter.".
