In order to promote the academic communication of researchers in the field of biomass energy and materials, and deepen the exploration in the field of biomass resources and materials, the "the Second Youth International Conference of Lignin and Collagen-based Materials & the First Biomass Energy and Materials Graduate Innovation Academic Forum of Liaoning Province " jointly organized by Dalian University of Technology, Sichuan University and Qilu University of Technology " was held in Dalian on November 7-9, 2020.

Student Cunzhi Zhang of our group participated in this conference and made oral presentation in the Innovation Academic Forum. After strict evaluation by experts and professors, “Eco-friendly Bioinspired Interface Design for High-performance Cellulose Nanofibril/Carbon nanotube Nanocomposites” reported by Cunzhi Zhang won the first prize. Also participating in the report were 47 graduate students from the national light industry discipline and related disciplines. This forum selected 4 first prizes, 8 second prizes, 16 third prizes, and 12 excellent papers.  

Here, congratulations to Cunzhi Zhang for his excellent achievement. At the same time, we also recommend that all students actively participate in related academic conferences and achievement presentations while working hard in the laboratory.
