Prof. Peng has initiated more than 10 subjects at different levels and participated in 7 projects. He has over 50 papers published in academic journals like Sports & Science. He also has a monograph published and co-compiled many teaching materials.

Now Prof. Peng is a person in charge of Sports Institute of SCUT under the leadership of the National Sports Science Society, a member of Postgraduate Educational Guidance Committee of Professional Degree, Guangdong Province, and a standing member of Guangzhou Sports Science Society. Besides, he also serves as Deputy Director of Sports Training Branch, National Social Science Fund project corresponding rater, planning subject corresponding rater sponsored by Ministry of Education and a member of editorial board of Journal of Physical Education.
