He has initiated one key project sponsored by State General Sports Administration and one provincial project. He has also participated in two state-level projects, and cooperated with Hong Kong Sports Institute in many projects. He has ten papers published in academic journals such as Sports & Science and China Sports Science and Technology. He was awarded the first-classprize of science and technology in the 10th National Athlete Games held by the Shanghai Sports Bureau. He also obtained a national patent for new utility model design.
Prof. Li has provided sports biomechanics services for Hong Kong elite women saber team in Hong Kong Sports Institute and kayak athletes in Shanghai aquatic center, and undertaken necessary researches.
Currently, he is a council member of Statistics Branch of Guangzhou Sports Science Society.
