SPA Postgraduate Student Won the Second Prize in the 2024 Jiangsu Province Graduate Students’ Public Management Academic Innovation Forum

From December 27th to 29th, 2024, the 2024 Jiangsu Province Graduate Students’ Public Management Academic Innovation Forum was successfully held at Nanjing Agricultural University. This forum was hosted by the Jiangsu Province Graduate Education Guidance Committee for Management, organized by the School of Public Administration of Nanjing Agricultural University, and co-organized by the Institute of Resources, Environment and Development. The forum focused on the theme of New Quality Productivity and Theoretical Innovation in Public Management, jointly exploring the theoretical and practical applications of new quality productivity in the field of public management, and delving into how to effectively integrate new quality productivity into all aspects of public management to promote the modernization of the social governance system and governance capacity, and enhance the efficiency and quality of public management. A total of over 200 papers were received from more than 100 domestic universities including Fudan University, Renmin University of China, Zhejiang University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Beijing Normal University, Nanjing University, Nankai University, Southeast University, Sichuan University, East China Normal University, Xi'an Jiaotong University, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, City University of Hong Kong, and Macao Polytechnic University, receiving extensive support from graduate students.

In the afternoon, the forum conducted academic exchanges in the form of sub-forums. The 60 postgraduate students selected by expert judges gave presentations on five themes: Resource Utilization and Total Factor Productivity, Territorial Spatial Planning under the Background of New Quality Productivity, Empowering Social Governance with New Quality Productivity, Social Security and the Promotion of New Quality Productivity, and Integration of Education, Science and Technology, and Talent with New Quality Productivity. The forum organizing committee invited 23 experts and scholars who have long been engaged in related fields to provide on-site comments, conducting in-depth analyses of the students' achievements and offering many valuable suggestions and guiding opinions.
