Recently, Associate Prof. Li Jiayuan, a young scholar from SPA-SCUT and researcher from the University of Leuven in Netherlands, published a paper entitled A Meta-analysis of the Relative Effectiveness of the Item Count Technique Compared to Direct Questioning in Sociological Methods & Research. Social methods & Research is the top journal of social science research methods (SSCI section 1, journal link: https://journals.sagepub.com/description/SMR). Since the journal’s first publication, it mainly reported various important achievements in the field of social science research methods. The current editor-in-chief is Prof. Christopher Winship from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. This journal is one of the only 3 foreign Journals of social science, which is recognized as Class A top journal by our university.
