Masoud Sanayei，美国塔夫茨大学(Tufts University)教授，土木与环境工程系主任，Journal of Bridge Engineering, ASCE期刊副主编。曾兼任美国土木工程师协会（ASCE）结构性能委员会主席、结构监测与评估委员会主席。主持或联合主持了包括美国国家科学基金委项目（NSF）、美国环境保护局项目（EPA）、美国美国联邦公路局项目（FHWA）等多项科研课题，近5年在国际高水平刊物上发表文章30多篇，在结构健康监测和振动控制工程理论和应用研究方面取得了一系列创新性研究成果。

报告摘要：

Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) is emerging as an important element for sustainable management of public works infrastructure systems such as bridges, tunnels, buildings, and dams. Our research focuses on bridge structural health monitoring, in particular the implementation of bridge condition assessment using static and dynamic non-destructive tests. Finite element models are calibrated with measured data for load rating and SHM. Currently we are performing SHM on the Powder Mill Bridge (Vernon Avenue Bridge), Tobin Memorial Bridge (Charlestown, MA), and the Dowling Hall Footbridge (Medford, MA).
