一、SCUT语言中心
华南理工大学英语语言中心是由广州国际校区教学事务办公室与外国语学院联合建立的重要教学平台，是“新工科人才培养试验区”建设的重要举措。自2019年成立以来，语言中心一直致力于提供全面的英语教学服务，包括必修课程、选修课程、先修课程以及丰富多彩的跨文化活动。我们的目标是通过系统的英语强化训练，全面提升在校生的英语应用能力，使其能够更加自信地应对全英文教学环境的挑战。
二、2024秋季开课计划
本学期，语言中心将继续向国际校区全体学生免费提供优质的语言学习服务，包括一对一个性化辅导、学术成就指导工作坊、跨文化交流系列学术讲座及英语角活动，旨在于轻松愉悦的学习环境中，提高同学们的英语综合应用能力、跨文化沟通理解能力及全球视野。
1.一对一辅导
开课时间：7-15周
学习目标：我们将提供个性化的英语语音诊断与矫正服务，帮助学生精准调整语音语调，提升英语表达的准确性与流利度。同时，通过强化英语写作基础训练，确保学生能够轻松应对全英文课程的作业要求。

Scott
Scott Martin (郑大龙) has a Bachelor degree in Resource Management and Master' s degrees in Public Health and Special Education, as well as TOEFL certification from the International TOEFL Academy. Scott boasts twenty-five years’ experience in business management and 6 years of teaching, including three years teaching in China. Scott strives to aid his students in accomplishing their goals, while sharing his accumulated knowledge of world cultures and life experiences. He teaches IELTS, TOEFL, SAT and EAP; currently and for the foreseeable future at the South China University of Technology.
