SBA students triumph at GMC in China

The 2017 edition of the Global Management Challenge (GMC) in China saw a total of 1,984 teams competing. After two rounds of contests in five months, sixteen teams stood out and entered the national final held in Beijing on January 28-29, 2018. The national winner went to Iliad, a team composed of students from SBA while another SBA team Protoss won the second runner-up. The Iliad team will represent China to fight for the title of world champion against winning teams from about 40 countries and regions all around the world at the GMC international final which is to be held in Dubai, UAE in this April.

Emerging in Europe in 1980, the GMC is the largest Strategy and Management Competition in the world, and is reputed to be the Olympic Games of management simulations. It aims to improve globally the business management and simulation teaching in business schools, and promote the standardization of business management technology between different countries.
