YunTech EMBA students visit SBA

A delegation of EMBA student from College of Management of Yunlin University of Science and Technology (YunTech) visited SBA on December 22nd.

The group, led by Professor Chen Zhen-sui, Dean of YunTech College of Management, visited the SCUT History Museum first. On the introduction tour guided by a SCUT student volunteer, delegates learnt about SCUT’s history and achievements in education and research, and spoke highly of its accomplishments. After that, they went to see some historic buildings and took photos on the beautiful campus.

The guests then went to Building 12 for a meeting with SBA’s EMBA students and alumni. Professor Li Zhihong, SBA’s Associate Dean for professional degree programs, extended a warm welcome to the delegation. He hoped that the exchange between EMBA students of both schools will create opportunities for cross-strait enterprises cooperation. Professor Chen expressed his gratitude to SBA’s hospitality and expected more exchange activities in the future. Seeking cooperative opportunities, EMBA students of the two schools made introduction to their own business and exchanged their views and information in respective industries. At the end of the meeting, Professor Chen and Professor Li presented each other a souvenir symbolizing the friendship of both schools.  

Yunlin University of Science and Technology (YunTech) was founded in 1991. Situated in Douliu, Taiwan, YunTech is a flagship technological university with four colleges, the College of Engineering, College of Management, College of Design, and College of Humanities and Applied Sciences, who account for 20 undergraduate, 26 master’s and 12 doctoral programs .

Established in 1997, the YunTech College of Management consists of five departments: Industrial Engineering and Management, Business Administration, Information Management, Finance, Accounting, and Bachelor Program in International Management as well. Each department has both doctoral and graduate programs. In 2014, YunTech College of Management acquired AACSB accreditation.
