Abstract:

  Wet lay technology is similar to paper manufacturing. The difference is the kind of fibers which can be used with this technology. Long fiber or low consistency technology would be also a fitting name.

  To handle stable fibers with a length of up to 36mm a very low forming consistency is necessary. 

The lecture includes the history of wet lay machines and gives overview of other nonwovens technologies. Shows state of the art machinery and gives insights in the machine design of such machines.

  The lecture gives an insight in this interesting world in between paper and nonwoven.

The lecturer introduction:

  Klaus Afflerbach was till January 2020 Senior Sales Manager of Voith Paper in Germany. He was responsible at Voith for the worldwide sales of wet lay machines. During his career at Voith he worked as R & D Manager, Project Manager and Start-up Engineer before starting his sales activities. 

  Klaus Afflerbach studied Chemical Engineering at RWTH Aachen in Germany. He obtained his Doctor of Engineering (Dr.-Ing.) in 1991 at the Institute of Physical Chemistry at RWTH Aachen. During this doctoral time, he was involved in preparing an experiment for the German D2-Mission in the NASA-Space lap.

报告摘要:

  湿法无纺成型技术与造纸工艺相似,不同点在于两种技术针对的纤维不同。湿法成形技术更多的是指长纤维或低浓度的成形技术。

  当长达36mm的纤维用于成形抄造时,必须使用低浓成形技术。

  本次讲座主要介绍湿法成形装备的发展历史和其他类型无纺布成形技术的概况。此外,讲座还会涉及湿法成形装备的最新发展动态,并针对此提出自己的设计见解。

  本次讲座将让我们深入了解造纸和无纺布这个有趣的世界。

报告人简介:

  Klaus Afflerbach曾任德国福伊特纸业(Voith Paper)高级销售经理,直到2020年1月。他在福伊特负责湿法无纺成型纸机的全球销售。在福伊特的职业生涯中,他曾担任研发经理、项目经理和开机工程师,然后开始他的销售活动。

  Klaus Afflerbach在德国亚琛工业大学学习化学工程。他于1991年在亚琛工业大学物理化学研究所获得工程博士学位。在博士期间,他参与了NASA实验室德国d2任务的实验准备工作。
