On August 16, the national natural science foundation of China (NSFC) announces the evaluation results of the 2019 NSFC centralized application period project. Professor Zhang Yiyue applies for hematopoietic growth regulation, Du Jinzhi researchers applies for polymer nano drug carrier material, respectively awarded outstanding youth science project funding. The financing amount is 1.2 million yuan. It is the second time that after professor Yang Xianzhu who is approved since 2018, the optimal green project funding acquirs two grants. Now there are 3 outstanding young people in the School of Medicine.

        Zhang Yiyue, female, is born in 1981, Doctor, professor, mainly engaged in blood development regulation and disease research. She has published 38 papers in Blood, Leukemia, Development, Haematologica journal (including communication/author 17), cited 952 times. She has applied for 5 patents (Two pstents have been authorized). She is a member of blood physiology branch of Chinese society of physiology and zebrafish branch of Chinese society of zoology. She has Successively presided over 5 youth and surface projects of the national natural science foundation of China, won the support of Guangdong provincial outstanding young teachers fund, and been selected as the top young talents of Guangdong special support program and Guangzhou Pearl River science and technology new star.

        Du Jinzhi, male, is born in 1983, Doctoral supervisor, distinguished researcher. He is mainly engaged in biomedical polymer, nano drug carrier, tumor immunotherapy and other fields of research. In recent years, more than 40 SCI papers have been published in Acc Chem Res,PNAS,JACS,Angew Chem Int Ed,ACS Nano,Nano Lett and other journals, cited nearly 3500 times. Six correspondence/first author papers are selected by ESI cited highly, with the highest number of citations per paper reaching nearly 600 times. In charge of the general program of national natural science foundation of China, he is selected as the top young talents in Guangdong outstanding youth and Guangdong Pearl River talent program.
