Introduction:

My lab is interested in the development of the immune system and the function of immune cells on tissue regeneration. We mainly take the unique advantages of zebrafish to tackle questions which are difficult to be answered in other animal models. Zebrafish produces large number of embryos and their embryos are transparent. These advantages make zebrafish an excellent model for forward genetic study and optic observation/manipulation. By taking these unique advantages, we expect to do innovative research.
