The first national Real Estate Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition and the Award Ceremony was held at Tsinghua University on November 5th.Consisting of Xiangjie He(graduate)，Xuhui Huang (graduate)，Jing Huang(graduate) and Lina Zhong(undergraduate) from School of Civil Engineering and Transportation, Qiujing Wang(graduate) and Yuanting Luo(graduate) from School of Architecture and Qiannan Yang (graduate)who majoring in public administration .The team named “rush in NO.1” from SCUT won the second prize and the Best Economic Analysis prize in the final by excellent work named “New Play in the Headstream of Originality and Sharing”. Their performance was outstanding on the spot. As supervisors, Prof. Yousong Wang, Prof. Yan Zhang, Dr. Hui Yan, Dr. Fan Wu, Dr. Yichuan Deng and Dr. Hongyang Li from the School of civil and Transportation and Xin Li from School of Architecture won the title of excellent supervisors.

There were 13 teams entering the final game, including Tsinghua University，Northeast University of Finance and Economics，Peking University, South China University of Technology, Beijing Jiaotong University, Central University of Finance and Economics, Xian University of Architecture and Technology, Shenyang Architecture University, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, Renmin University of China, Harbin Institute of Technology, Southeast University and Tianjin Chengjian University. On the spot, each competition team had 20 minutes to present their project and then answered judges' questions. After grading four aspects including project orientation, project strategy, project economic analysis and optional content , judges decided the rank according to total score concerning the preliminary and final competition.
Our team maintained calm when facing strong opponents in the final game, they presented wonderful ideas about “New Play in the Headstream of Originality and Sharing” at their own pace and won applause from judges and audience. In the oral defense section，judges showed a keen interest in the design and economic analysis of our school‘s work, the team also performed splendidly.
The selection of participating teams was held in school of civil engineering and transportation before the final. Our school invited professors and experts who had been to the competition before to help competitors improve and modify their presentation, which laid a good foundation to their final triumph.

It is understood that the first national Real Estate Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition is initial attempt to cultivate innovative talents in real estate industry, which guides students to pay attention to development of the real estate market, directs them to experience the whole process of project operation and provides a communication platform for students and enterprise. It also improves the students’ ability in utilizing knowledge, innovating, expressing synthetically , as well as competing and cooperating. This competition was organized by the higher school real estate development management and property management Guiding Committee, cooperated by Deli Lee Real Estate Venture Lab of MIT, School of civil and hydraulic engineering of Tsinghua University and Institute of Residential and Community Studies, with financial support from Beijing urban planning and Design Research Institute.
