China is entering a new era when new construction engineering and building renovation co-exist. On the one hand, the scale of new buildings is still large; on the other hand, the scale of stock buildings is even larger. With strong implementation of energy saving and environment protection policies nationwide, more and more stock buildings need to be maintained, renovated and upgraded. More than 450 representatives from related universities or institutes, such as Tsinghua University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Tongji University, South China University of Technology, Hunan University, Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology, National Center for Quality Supervision and Text of Building Engineering, and MCC Construction Research Institute Co., Ltd. attended the conference.
