报告人简介:

杨宇光目前是荷兰代尔夫特理工大学土木工程与地球科学学院混凝土结构课题组的助理教授。杨教授在代尔夫特理工大学讲授《混凝土桥梁》理学硕士课程。研究方向主要围绕现有混凝土桥梁的评估,包括采用先进的建模方法对现有混凝土桥梁进行安全评估、混凝土桥梁的耐压试验、采用基于波的混凝土桥梁监测和混凝土结构的循环设计。

杨宇光教授是欧洲混凝土结构标准化委员会(CEN)的荷兰国家代表之一,主要从事混凝土结构的剪切和扭转(TG4)研究。在过去的5年里,杨教授参与编制新一代欧洲结构混凝土规范。杨教授还与荷兰基础设施和水资源管理部密切合作。同时为多个国际学术组织成员:结构混凝土协会(fib TG3.2, TG2.2),国际材料与结构研究实验联合会(RILEM TC 269-IAM)等。杨教授曾在国际桥梁与结构工程协会(IABSE)和国际桥梁维护与安全协会(IABMAS)连续组织和主持了5次以上关于桥梁荷载试验和桥梁监测的分会场。

I am an assistant professor at the research group of concrete structures, faculty of civil engineering and geosciences, Delft University of Technology, the Netherlands. I give the MSc course: Concrete Bridges at TU Delft. My research interests are around the assessment of existing concrete bridges, that includes: the safety assessment of the existing concrete bridges using advanced modelling approaches, proof load testing of concrete bridges, monitoring of concrete bridges using wave-based method, circular design of concrete structures.

I am one of the Dutch national representatives in part of CEN (European Committee for Standardization) on concrete structures, being specialized in shear and torsion of concrete structures (TG4). In the past 5 years, I worked on development of the next generation of Eurocode for concrete structures on this topic. I also worked closely with the Dutch ministry of infrastructure and water management. I am also active member of several international academic committees: fib TG3.2, TG2.2, RILEM TC 269-IAM, etc. I have been organizing and chairing more than 5 consecutive sessions in IABSE and IABMAS on load testing of bridges and monitoring of bridges.

声发射是在材料内部由局部应力能量的快速释放引起的瞬态弹性波(来自维基百科)。在混凝土结构中,当混凝土出现裂缝或发生界面滑移时,会出现声发射现象,这通常与混凝土的破坏过程有关。因此,监测声发射有助于我们了解和跟踪混凝土内部结构的损伤过程。在本次讲座中,杨教授将首先简要介绍声发射的基本概念,然后简要介绍代尔夫特工业大学混凝土结构研究课题组在利用声发射监测混凝土结构的最新研究进展。最后,杨教授将进一步探讨其他基于波传导的混凝土结构监测技术。

Acoustic emission is the transient elastic waves within a material, caused by the rapid release of localized stress energy (from Wikipedia). In the case of concrete structures, acoustic emission is observed when concrete cracks or sliding of two interfaces occurs. This usually relates to the damaging process of concrete. Therefore, monitoring Acoustic Emission helps us understanding and tracking the damaging process of concrete structures from inside. In this lecture, I will first give a brief introduction on the basic concepts of Acoustic Emission. It then follows by an overview of the recent research development in monitoring concrete structure using Acoustic Emission at the research group of concrete structures of TU Delft. In the last part of the lecture, I will extend my discussion to other wave-based monitoring technologies for concrete structures.
