On April 16, 2018,Professor Anders Miki Bojesen and Associate Professor Rikke Heidemann Olsen from Copenhagen University of Denmark gave an academic report titled “Q and W” in the Dongtang Hall of Building 13, which was very exciting. More than 60 teachers and students attended the report meeting. The meeting was chaired by Professor DongmeiLiu.

After Professor DongmeiLiu briefly introduced Professor Miki and Associate Professor Rikke, Professor Miki first introduced the beautiful University of Copenhagen to the teachers and students and warmly welcomed the students to their studies. Prof. Miki combined many years of accumulated scientific research experience in microbiological drug resistance, briefly introduced his scientific research direction, and shared cutting-edge technologies on immune, vaccine and microbiological security resistance control. Afterwards, Associate Professor Rikke highlighted the use of transcriptomics to elucidate the mode of action of antibiotics. The audience was greatly benefited. The students asked the two professors for their doubts and confusion. The exchange atmosphere was very harmonious.

Prof. Miki and Associate Professor Rikke's visit to our institute not only invigorated the academic exchange atmosphere of our institute, but also let us understand the latest research trends in microbiological resistance internationally, and laid the foundation for the future exchange and cooperation between our institute and the University of Copenhagen.(by Chenchen Jia)
