The Development of Food Science Forum hosted by South China University of Technology was held at the Nanguo Hotel, Guangzhou,  China on 8th-9th, July. More than 20 specialist in the are of Food Science from ChinaAgriculturalUniversity, JiangnanUniversity, NanchangUniversity, Tianjin University of Science and Technology and other universities attended the forum. Yu Qijun, deputy secretary of the school of Food Science and Technology, SCUT, attended the meeting and addressed a speech.

The aim of the forum is to promote the development of discipline. The participants can share their experiences with each other.
