For water pollution caused by antibiotics abuse, professor Jian-hua Cheng developed the MIL-68(In)-NH2/graphene oxide composite photocatalyst and CdS/ZIF-8 derivatives to optimize the preparation methods of porous carbon composite photocatalytic materials and technologies by composite oxide graphene and compound semiconductor materials, products with good adsorption properties, stable high catalytic activity and structure of MOFs photocatalytic material. At the same time, based on the characterization of the composite photocatalyst, further reveals the relationship between the catalyst structure and improve the performance of photocatalytic degradation of antibiotics. The result has been published in top journals such as Applied Catalysis B: Environmental, Chemical Engineering Journal, and so on.
Jian-hua Cheng has made a series of achievements in the design, development and industrialization of environmental protection and daily chemical functional materials. His self-created project has won the second prize of Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award, and the incubation enterprise has won the Small and Medium-sized Enterprise Innovation Award of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the third prize of Innovative Entrepreneurship Competition in Guangdong province, was rated as High-tech Enterprises, Little Giant of Science and Technology in Guangzhou city, Guangdong Province Engineering Technology Center. Based on the above achievements, Professor Cheng was rated as high-level leading talent of Guangdong Special Support Plan and Outstanding Talent of Guangzhou Development Zone.
